Congratulations and Welcome to the Morgan State University family!

After watching the video, make sure to follow these basic guidelines. If you follow these steps, not only will you be able to successfully complete our program, you will also be ready to successfully begin your college career at Morgan.

ACCESS Orientation Guidelines

1. All communication will be sent directly to your Morgan Email address. (Ex. Bear67@morgan.edu)
2. All of the ACCESS Orientation Program content and tasks for the summer can be found in what we call our "Bear Notes" which are attached as a PDF document at the bottom of this email.

• Download the Bear Notes to your computer.
• The Bear Notes PDF lists all of the components of the orientation program in the form of hyperlinks.
• Each link includes videos, activities, tasks, and quizzes for each topic.
• You must click on every link and take every quiz in the Bear Notes to successfully complete the ACCESS Orientation Program.

3. Check your Morgan email every Monday before 12:00 PM for instructions for the week's task and other information.
4. You have a limited time to complete each week's orientation task, usually about 2-3 days. Feel free to complete the orientation tasks earlier than their due dates.
5. If you stay on-track each week and complete the tasks on-time, or if you complete the entire Bear Notes early, you will be eligible for special prizes and recognition.
6. Once you complete all of the orientation tasks and Bear Notes, you will receive a certificate of completion along with your class T-shirt, backpack, and other giveaways during the special event in August, right before Fall 2021 classes begin.
7. Read steps 1-6 again.

Tips

• Your username is your Morgan Email address without the "@morgan.edu."

• Logout of WEBSIS and all other programs after each use.

• If you experience an "ERROR 500" message, go to the page directly before logging onto WEBSIS, Logout, then try logging back in.

• When in doubt, DOUBLE CHECK. The answer is often in the reading you will have to do.

• After you have double checked, by READING. Email "ACCESS@morgan.edu" to speak to the ACCESS Orientation Coordinator
