Target Scholars Program
From https://uncf.org/programs/target-scholars
We would like to share with you an opportunity to obtain scholarship funding to assist you with paying for college. Target, in partnership with UNCF, has established the Target Scholars Program to provide 1,000 need-based scholarships of up to $5,000 to first-year Black students enrolled at select Historically Black Colleges or Universities (HBCUs) with a demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in technology, leadership or design. Incoming freshmen at Morgan will receive 75 of these scholarships! This program will provide students with four years of academic support as well as mentoring, internship opportunities, networking and more throughout their college career – and is just one way that Target’s supporting the next generation of Black talent, helping build the workforce for the future. Detailed information about student criteria and the overall program can be found at: UNCF.org/TargetScholars. The deadline to apply is July 19 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Applicants who have submitted complete applications will be notified of scholarship decisions no later than August 31, 2021.
